Not gothic...Cybergothic

Since I found the band named "The Kovenant" I've been seaching more to know about the cybergoths. Turns out they seem to be very interesting, in spite of the fact they are so more shiny than a plain dark goth. Well, I've always been a plain dark goth, but...

I'm in love with their style, wich reminds me a bit of the Steampunk style (they're super interesting too, I've made a little research). I love their gas masks and their biohazard goggles used over the head. I adore the idea of a acid green corset over a black gothic garment - gives such a edge to a look you're already used to.

I also liked the idea of the symbols. Because of my boyfriend, who is really into Physics, so I really got into this idea of having a green goggle with a nuclear, biohazard or atom symbol on it.

Their music is also very good. Search for cybergoth, and you'll find some good stuff. Oddly enough, I ended up finding a band I really liked before all this reseach on my youtube search: Deathstars! Well, I wouldn't say cybergoth, but they definately use a lot of weird sythetic sounds on their songs...

Just before I go, have anyone seen Dimmu Borgir's new song, Gateways? I loved it, but it would DEFINATELY be better with Vortex singing it instead of that woman, who was really TRYING, but can't sing like the man did. Meh, Shagrath's voice and the good guitar and drums still saves the whole thing. But, man, if the drummer gets out, they'd better start getting worried.

Dark kisses for those who like traditions, and green lipstick kisses for those who liked the whole Cybergoth thing.

Hello there

Greetings.

The idea of the Sulphuric Angel blog is to show a not so widely known style - a living and dressing style - the dark one.

I'm not restraining it only to the gothic scene. This blog intends to show the headbangers or metalheads as well - the girls in old jeans and black band shirts as well as the pretty silent girls in long dresses wearing black lipstick.

But the blog is not just fashion-wise. It is music, fashion, art and everything that composes the dark scene, all together in this space. I'll write topics about bands, lyrics, fashion and more, and I'll count on your opinions and suggestions.

So, everyone who enjoys metal, laces, leather, piercings, black make-up and all that makes our life better, be very welcome.
